Many of you know our good friend and former tutor Anna Goldsmith. She is now using her talents to help train and equip under-resourced teachers in rural South Africa through a ministry called Abba's Pride.
If you had told me this time last year that I would be preparing to move 8,000 miles away to a continent I had never visited, I would have laughed in your face! But God is good and I am so overwhelmingly humbled and honored to have this opportunity.
Anna's role is helping to train and equip teachers in seven local preschool/kindergarten centers, and each teacher that she works with has a direct impact on about 20 children per year. A number of the teachers that Anna is working with have little to no training, so the impact of her work is both immediate and long lasting.
Anna has been blessed with an infectious personality and the gift of teaching, and we are proud that she is doing some tremendous work for future generations!
