Our army of kittens
Our kittens are comprised of dedicated felines who are passionate about naps and love chasing anything that looks like it can be caught. All kittens have several years of experience dealing humans who have laser pointers and every one of our kittens are board certified to train dragons. Our kittens are the most effective dragon trainers in the world...when they're not napping...or eating....or any number of other things that they do besides training. How much time do they actually spend training dragons you ask? Not relevant!
Clay Daniel was the first dragon training kitten to come to Charlottesville. He did very well on all of those tests and thought students could be so much more. He thought, they could actually BE dragons and that birthed the idea of Clayborne Dragons. His metamorphosis into a kitten can be classified as awkward but effective.
Lee Elberson was transitioned into a kitten as an experiment to see if the capabilities of Clay could be doubled. Well, not all experiments go as planned but he's a kitten now and when he's not endlessly chasing tails, he's training dragons. He has trouble training dragons with only one eye but his naps have never been better!
Scott Webster was yet another experiment to try and improve on the Clay model of kitten. Sometimes you get lucky and sometimes you get....well...Scott. He doesn't do nearly as much training of dragons as the others but he is the only kitten to successfully have joint citizenship in the Federation of Frogs.
Christianna Andrews is our resident expert on digital kitten-dragon integration of communication doohickys. She knows her stuff, plus she can chase a laser light like nobody's business!
Yumeca Webb-Jordan is one of the most amazing dragon vocal trainers in the galaxy. Technically, she's the only one but that just makes it that much more impressive. She won't hesitate to stare down a dragon and put it in it's place.
Anna Holowinsky is the foremost leader in recruiting dragons who are escaping persecution for their fire-breathing rights. She started the International Dragon Worker's Union and is an advocate of dragon rights all over the world...when she's not napping. Napping is priority one!
Richard Needham is the latest addition to Clayborne's dragon training kitten army. He brings a certain amount of prestige to the team being trained by the elite of Great Brittain's Consortium of Dragon Trainers.
Barry Keith is one of the most experienced french kittens we have. I mean look at his picture! Do you know how hard it is to find a great fitting fire-proof beret when you are a kitten?
Conner McCarthy was the first kitten to not only train dragons but also compose music. Well, mostly sleep on musical instruments but it's pretty much the same thing.
Tim Jenson is a master of dragon altitude saturation calculating. What does that mean exactly? Well, he's the only kitten who knows how to punch buttons on the calculator without getting distracted by his tail!
Kevin Culbertson is another musically inclined kitten dragon trainer. He also trains dragons in the art of sleeping upside down without snoring and burning down the neighborhood.
Katie Swinson has a skill for working with dragons who have had difficulty learning the basics of dragonhood. She knows that flying and breathing fire are tough, but she also knows that fitting in a 14 hour nap each day is tough too!
Tyler Scheiner is the only dragon trainer who actually has experience being a dragon. That's right he was a dragon and now he's a kitten. What have you done with your life? He does miss being able to BBQ his own food on the spot though.
Lauren Cabrera prides herself on formulating the kitten transition syrum and knows how to teach a dragon a thing or two about those letters on that chart thingy. Plus, she has genetically engineered an endless string. Genious!
Lynn Define has always wanted to train dragons but didn't want to deal with the hassles of being a kitten. She finally converted and says that the transition was much smoother than she thought. The tough part is typing an email with kitten paws, they aren't really designed for that. Plus, Siri doesn't recognize her meow.
Patrick Chabot was the first kitten to recognize the beauty of music through a kitten's ears. He doesn't really do much dragon training because the fire damages the whiskers on his ears.
