Jim Halpert has recently transferred to the Stamford branch and received a promotion in the process.  Jim has trouble fitting in—a few months into his tenure at Stamford, he admits he doesn't think the other employees even know his name. Even their favorite recreation activity (playing Call of Duty during work hours) frustrates Jim, as he proves to be spectacularly inept at the game.

After Jim settles back in at Scranton he uses his promotion as an excuse to avoid his old interactions and pranks with Pam claiming that pulling pranks again would send him back to his old slacker lifestyle. However Jim does return to his old ways in time by focusing a few pranks on Andy Bernard, his ex-Stamford coworker, as well as on Dwight.

Pam  Beesly is the receptionist at Dunder Mifflin's Scranton, PA branch. She appears shy and hesitant at times, but she is very kind and has a good sense of humor.  She dated warehouse employee Roy Anderson for eight years and engaged to him for three. Roy's hesitance to set a date for their wedding ultimately lead to the relationship's doom.  Jim Halpert finally asked Pam to marry him after years of pining after her.  Pam has continued to take steps towards self-improvement by enrolling in art school, standing by Michael on his business venture and starting a family with Jim. There are times that Pam struggles with her art career and her marriage as she battles with her deep-seated insecurities, but these moments only serve to show the strength and resilience Pam holds.

Andy Bernard was born in 1973 and he was a Salesman at Dunder Mifflin/Sabre until being promoted to Regional Manger.  He is currently in no relationship. He was fired after Nellie stole his job causing Andy to react violently, but wins his job back after convincing David Wallace to buy out Dunder-Mifflin/Sabre and re-instate him as manager. He quits his job at Dunder Mifflin in order to start on the road of success as an actor, although he does not get accepted into the audition. He is now a main head Counselor at Cornell, the university he graduated from.

Stanley's daughter attends Catholic school and is in the 8th grade. He hates Michael with a passion and even saying that he would not urinate on Michael if he were on fire, and was very happy to hear he was getting laid off, even though the rumor was false.  "I wake up every morning in a bed that’s too small, drive my daughter to a school that’s too expensive, and then I go to work to a job for which I get paid too little, but on pretzel day? Well, I like pretzel day..."

Creed Bratton is a deviant and probable sociopath employed at the Scranton branch of paper distributor Dunder Mifflin as a quality assurance director. Creed is a mysterious figure who is prone to saying bizarre, disturbing, or confusing statements on a regular basis. As a result of nefarious activities during his former career as a rock musician in the 1960s, Creed has an incredibly poor memory. At one point, he can't even recall his official job title of Quality Assurance Director, instead calling it "Quabitty Ashwoods", and later stating that he should have written it down.
